For many years, there were a lot of people working hard to make good music, culture, and current events programming that focused mostly on emerging artists, people, subjects, stories, etc. These people made a ton of videos and podcasts over the years – as well as other stuff. Unfortunately, the company they all worked for closed and all the stuff they'd made became unavailable to the public. RedactedAV is an effort to get some of that back online for people to see and hear again.

Like we said, a lot of people worked hard to make this stuff. And we like to think it was a pretty good record of a period of time and specific moments in culture. Also, since that old company closed, a lot of the musicians and other people that were featured in the programming have been in touch with the people who made it, expressing their hopes that it could be made available again. All of this collectively has led us to work on getting it back out there as best we can.

This effort is being officially facilitated by Stereoactive Media, which is run by Jeremiah Lee McVay – himself one of the people involved in producing much of the material that was taken offline when the old company closed.
